11/03/2009 Marfa Ridge - Armier Bay
For once, we started out from the Madonna Statue at the tip of Marfa Ride and headed north towards the White Tower where we took a detour to Ahrax Point. There, the sea has undermined the cliff and created a huge almost circular hole with turqoise sea sea water at the bottom - a remarkable site. We walked past Little Armier Bay and onto Armier Bay. The views across to Comino and Gozo were impressive but the small beaches were strewn with seaweed. We then turned inand and climbed back to Marfa Ridge and back to the Madonna Statue.
